2023 Nissan Altima Overview
The new Nissan Altima will arrive in autumn 2022. In the meantime, we can explore what we know to be true thus far, but be mindful that this is a preproduction model and that these details are subject to change. The new Altima continues the sixth generation introduced for the 2019 model year but boasts a revised front end with the new Nissan logo. It also has more standard driver aids and a new available 12.3-inch infotainment touch screen.

The SL adds leather upholstery, zoned automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, a nine-speaker Bose audio system and ambient interior lighting.
Nissan Altima Mechanical specs
We mentioned that there will be four core trim levels available for the new Altima, but there will actually be eight trim levels overall available through our Nissan dealership serving Fayetteville North Carolina. The base S is a front-wheel drive sedan. This is also true of the SV, SR and SL, but you have the option of the SV AWD, SR AWD and SL AWD. At the top of the trim level and the replacement for the retired Platinum model is the SR VC-Turbo.

We also know that blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors and rear automatic braking will at least be available with the base model if not standard. You also have the option of ProPilot Assist, which includes adaptive cruise control and lane keeping, and the upper trim levels enhance the cruise control with traffic sign recognition.
